GL Planters Shipping & Warranty

We stand behind our planters and want you to love your garden setup. If you have any issues, contact us and we’ll work with you to make it right.

Shipping & Order Processing

  • After placing your order, our warehouse team will prepare your package. We ship via UPS or FedEx, and you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details. Weather or shipping volume may affect delivery. All orders ship next business day.
  • Tracking Notification: A shipping confirmation email with tracking information will be sent once your order has been picked up. Tracking activation may take up to 48–72 hours.
  • Transit Times: After your order is dispatched, it usually takes 1–6 business days to arrive. Deliveries to remote areas may take an extra 3–5 business days.
  • All GL Planters products ship from the U.S.A. No international duties or tariffs apply.
  • If you refuse a shipment and have the package returned to us, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs.
  • Damages and Defects: Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Warranty Details

  • Warranty Duration: Planters are covered by a limited warranty for 1 year and 1 month from the date of purchase.
  • Warranty Coverage: This warranty is strictly limited to structural defects, which include but are not limited to:
    • Structural cracks compromising the integrity of the product
    • Significant warping affecting usability
    • Manufacturing defects that impair the product’s functionality
  • Warranty Resolution: In the event of a covered structural defect, GL Planters® will take the following actions at our sole discretion:
    • Replacement: Provide a replacement of the original product or a similar model if the original is no longer available
    • Refund: If a replacement is unavailable, a refund for the original purchase amount will be issued
  • Warranty Exclusions: The following conditions and damages are not covered under this warranty:
    • Normal wear and tear: minor scratches, dents, or general wear from regular use
    • Discoloration and weathering: natural aging, color changes, and weathering due to exposure to elements
    • Cracks and knot holes: natural occurrences in cedar wood that do not affect structural integrity

Cedar Natural Material Notice (Not a Defect)

Cedar is a natural wood product and will weather and gray over time. Knots, texture, grain variation, and natural color differences are normal and do not affect structural integrity. Minor surface cracks and cedar “checking” (small splits along the grain) are natural characteristics of the drying process and are not considered defects. GL Planters® cannot guarantee the exact appearance of any piece of wood—no two planters look exactly the same.

Shipping / Warranty by GL Planters

Safety

Avoid climbing in the planters at all costs, and definitely do not let children or pets explore inside or underneath the planter box.

Under no circumstances should the spanner be used for anything besides tightening the bolts for the planters. Keep it well out of the reach of kids.

Absolutely no rocks, plastic, or other non-soil and plant items are allowed in the planter box. The planter box is exclusively for gardening purposes. Failure to comply with these safety standards will result in voiding your warranty and risk of injury.
